Zelfs voor klimaatontkenners zal het lastig zijn om de trend in onderstaande plaatjes te interpreteren als ‘er is niets aan de hand met het klimaat’ en ‘de planeet zal vanzelf wel weer afkoelen’. Het enige dat ze nog rest is hun aloude adagium ‘deze gegevens zijn vervalst’ of ‘de data is zwaar overdreven’ of ‘iedereen kan dit soort plaatjes naar willekeur inkleuren’.

Even for climate change deniers, it will be difficult to interpret the trend in the images below as ’there is nothing wrong with the climate’ and ’the planet will cool down on its own’. All that remains for them is their age-old adage: ’the data is flawed’ or ’the information is grossly exaggerated’ or ‘anyone can color these kinds of pictures at will’.

Forget the climate change deniers for a moment. What would yóu conclude if you saw this film playing out before your eyes, frame by frame?
